Welcome All Veterans!

As part of this community fellowship, we encourage our veterans to dress in their uniforms or simply wear a hat or shirt designating your branch of service.

We are starting a new group focusing on grief support. The group will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm beginning in October. Members as well as friends and neighbors are welcome - anyone who has experienced a loss will be supported in this group. Reading material will be provided; the group is led by Pastor Cover.

St. John Prayer Group will meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month beginning September 3rd. We will meet in the church library from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. For those members who have either prayer requests or blessings, please fill out the requests and place them in the Prayer Box in the narthex. For any questions, please contact Marie Boyer.

20 Dogs Blessed on October 5th!

St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of animals, began the tradition of blessing animals nearly 800 years ago. This year, 20 dogs were blessed at St. John Church and you can see the new photos in our Pet Blessing Gallery!

Who We Are

St. John is a growing rural/suburban Lutheran church serving the greater Boiling Springs area.

We believe the most important priority of our church is to continue Christ’s mission to make disciples: know Jesus and make Jesus known.
