Shining into the New Year
A Wellness Support Group
As we step into the new year, I’m choosing to make small, healthy changes—like cutting back on sugar—and I’d love a supportive community to help those changes stick.
If you’re also hoping to care for your body, mind, and spirit in gentle, sustainable ways, I invite you to join me as we shine into the new year together. We’ll begin by connecting to talk about how and when we’d like to meet, and how we want to move forward as a group.

Personal Care Items Collection
The LYFE Committee continues to support students in need within the South Middleton School District, as well as Community Cares clients.

❤️ LYFE Committee – Spread the Love: Welcome Home Kits
The LYFE Committee has been prayerfully considering ways to expand its mission outreach to include those imprisoned, responding to Christ’s call to:
feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome strangers, clothe the naked, care for the sick, and visit prisoners.
In December, LYFE partnered with Christian Churches United of the Tri-County Area, which has an established prison ministry serving Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry counties. We provided financial support for Christmas gifts for individuals in Dauphin County prison.
Now, as part of Spread the Love, we are supporting the ministry by providing Welcome Home Kits for people experiencing homelessness, poverty, and incarceration, helping them get a fresh start.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
Get Involved
Growing in our Community
You are invited to participate in creating a cooperative community garden here at St. John Lutheran Church! The aim of this garden will be to feed people in our area, especially those facing food insecurity. While there will be many ways for folks to get involved, we are currently seeking people to be part of an ad hoc steering committee that will plan and implement the development of the community garden.
If you are interested in being part of this committee, please contact Jane Gillwood (in-person, phone 717-497-4708, or email jgillwood@hotmail.com) by December 1st. We might have an initial meeting in December, if possible. Thanks!

Who We Are
St. John is a growing rural/suburban Lutheran church serving the greater Boiling Springs area.
We believe the most important priority of our church is to continue Christ’s mission to make disciples: know Jesus and make Jesus known.
What We Believe
As a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we believe that we are freed by the grace of Christ to live faithfully, to serve and love our neighbor.
With our hands, we do God’s work of restoring and reconciling individuals and communities in Jesus Christ’s name throughout the world.
Meet Our Pastor
