Come join in learning about Jesus LOVE! Children in kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to Godly Play. It will be held on Sunday February 16, 2025 during the 9:15 a.m. service.
My Brother's Table
We will be serving at Salvation Army’s My Brothers Table on February 16th. The meal, consisting of subs and chips, will be served from 12-1 p.m. If you’re interested in helping, please let Mary Beth Ziegler know.
Council Meeting
The St. John Lutheran Church Council will be meeting on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the church library.

VBS Leadership Meeting at Otterbein
There will be a meeting for leadership staff (not teachers) and only “littles” teachers on Monday, February 24th at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Otterbein United Methodist Church on Forge Road. Janna Brandt who is in charge of VBS at Otterbein will be hosting the meeting of staff from both congregations.

This year we are changing up the family service to include not only a children’s telling of the story (in costume), but also singing beloved carols, receiving holy communion, and experiencing Silent Night by candlelight. The traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Service begins at 7:00 p.m. with 30 minutes of special music followed by the word, the message, singing beloved Christmas carols, holy communion, and lighting of the candles as we sing Silent Night.

Monday, December 23th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Gift wrapping services will take place in the St. John Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, located at Second & Walnut Streets in Boiling Springs, PA. Please enter at the marked double doors located on Second St. or the marked HANDICAPPED accessible entrance located on Walnut St.

For the 4th Sunday of Advent, our Traditional Service will include the Hanging of the Greens and the lighting of the 4th candle on the Advent Wreath, LOVE. The service begins at 9:15 a.m. on December 22, 2024.
