Community Sunrise Service
All are welcome to this Community Sunrise Service. It will be held near the gazebo at Children’s Lake in Boiling Springs. The service will begin at 6:30am. Bring a chair.
Easter Services at St. John
Join us at St. John for Easter weekend services. The “Come as you are” service is Saturday, April 19th at 5:30 pm and the traditional service is Sunday April 20th at 9:15 am. Both services are held in the church sanctuary. All are welcome!

Youth Retreat at Camp Kirchenwald
All Youth are invited - 6th grade through 12th grade. The retreat will be held at Camp Kirchenwald in Lebanon PA. A fun time is planned. We will leave the church at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16th and return to the church on Sunday, May 18th around 1:00 p.m. Contact Jimmy Kreiser for more details.

Community FUN Fest
St. John Lutheran Church will be holding a Community FUN Fest at the Citizens Fire Company station in Boiling Springs on June 14th from 11-2. There will be FREE food, games and face painting for kids! Hopefully, the fire house will be able to do station and truck tours too.
Maundy Thursday with Foot Washing
This year on Maundy Thursday April 17th, we will include foot washing in the service. Foot washing on this holy night reminds us of Jesus’ own act of love for his disciples at the Last Supper. Basic instructions will be given in the service by Pastor Cover, and those who would like to participate can come forward to wash feet.
Council Meeting
The St. John Lutheran Church Council will be meeting on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the church library.
Confirmation Class
Confirmation Class meets on Saturday, March 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 pm in the Youth Room.
Easter Party
Easter Celebration – Join Us for a Day of Fun!
Come celebrate the new life in Jesus with us! Everyone is invited to enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt, crafts, games, and a light lunch. Older youth are welcome to help hide the eggs! When: Sunday, April 13, after church.
Palm Sunday
Join us for a traditional Palm Sunday worship service at 9:15 am. Following the service, we will have an Easter Party and Egg Hunt for the children.

Saturday, April 5th, from 11:00 – 2:00
Ellie Swank and her assistants will be offering a workshop at St. John Church on Ukrainian Psyanky Eggs decorating. A requested donation per participant will be $25. A light luncheon included.
